Beer World is the perfect example of a very successful company looking to become better. Over the past several years they have become the #1 Beer Store Brand in the Hudson Valley of New York by providing the best choice of beers, with great prices, in the best locations and a knowledgeable staff. With that being said Beer World’s ownership and management team knew something was missing, that something could be better.
Enter BTG. Beer World needed a new website. It may seem simple on the surface, BTG would design and develop a new online image for Beer World, but the Beer World executive team wanted something more versatile than a newly designed website. They were looking for a “main” site that would allow customers to identify the various store locations so they could decide which one was closest to them. This main site would also allow customers to discover the various brands of beer offered at Beer World. Finally the main site would be the central location for information regarding various beer tastings and beer related events throughout the Beer World stores. BTG delivered a visually appealing site that was 100% responsive at any screen size and made access to the necessary information a snap.

On top of the main site the Beer World executives wanted the ability to develop individual sites for each of their locations (micro-sites). BTG carried over the look and feel of the main to these micro-sites and created a system that would easily allow them to replicate them for each new Beer World location. Having the micro-sites would allow Beer World to bring store specific information to the customers they would most likely server. BTG accomplished this through integration with each location’s social media accounts and a service called Beer Menus (this service allow each location to display what beers they have On-Tap or offer by the Keg). A blog and newsletter on each of the micro-sites would also allow each location to communicate directly to their customer, thus bringing a more personalized beer buying experience.
