A responsive website and a logo…but wait there’s more
bodyco is a gym located in Middleton, MA that specializes in personal training and group fitness. Ownership had just changed hands and they came to BTG with an outdated site and a logo that needed some work.
When BTG looked under the hood it was clear that bodyco needed a bit more than a new site. Their content needed work, they needed some collateral marketing pieces to spark interest in the gym again and they needed a communication program to keep their members “in the loop”.
After BTG made minor modifications to the bodyco logo we went to work on their site. The new owners wanted to get away from the old look and feel that had defined the image of the prior group in charge. We took a non mobile friendly site, that lacked quality content and was positioned in the upper left hand corner of the screen and created a totally responsive, easy to navigate site that fit both the new owner’s wants and the user’s needs. On top of the new design BTG provided new trainer bios, updated class descriptions and introduced bodyco Buzz (the bodyco blog). Built with WordPress as a content management system BTG handed over a site to the bodyco owners that could easily be maintained and updated when needed. Easy access to bodyco’s schedule, social media platforms and class booking software gave members exactly what they were looking for, but that wasn’t the end of it.

A few of the marketing pieces BTG put together for bodyco in an effort to increase memberships at the gym.
Using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram we worked with the bodyco team to setup special offers and contests, leveraging programs like Groupon and Wicked Local, to not only gain awareness, but new memberships for the gym. BTG also developed multimedia campaigns using postcards, emails and advertising in local newspapers and magazines to bring people into bodyco. The results, a happy ownership group and a lot more healthy people in Middleton, Massachusetts and the surrounding areas. To this day bodyco and BTG work together and are always looking for ways to build on top of what has become a very strong foundation.
